Annapurna Region Trek (12)

This region's two main trails follows river valleys in relatively easy ascent on the west side up the Kaligandaki river to Muktinath (Hindu temple world heist temple) and on the east up the Marsyandi river valleys to Manang by crossing high pass Throng La 5416m from sea level. These trail can be joined into the classic Annapurna circuit . As the land climbs thatched-roof mud-walled  huts are replaced by flat roof stone house ,and people change from farmer to herders ,Hindus to Buddhist.
